Fabricom Suez's headquarters is situated in Humberside and operates from modern well equipped workshops which are adjacent to the deep water port of Immingham Dock. The dock which is used by vessels with lengths of up to 198 metres and with beam width of 26.2 metres is accessed by Fabricom Suez's own private road system. From our Humberside facility Fabricom Suez has specialist teams of highly competent personnel with extensive experience which enable us to provide a multi discipline service to all sectors of industry for both on and off site requirements.
Fabricom Suez's main administration block covers approximately 1200m² which is supported by additional office facilities throughout our complex. We can also provide excellent office accommodation for our clients project teams throughout the execution of the project.
Our range of modern well equipped facilities extend to over 13,000m² and includes module construction, steel preparations, piping, protective coating, exotic materials, machining and maintenance workshops.
Module construction
In support of our workshop facility Fabricom Suez has approximately 7500m² of hard cored construction yard with purpose built heavy duty foundations which can cater for the build and transportation to the docks of modules/skid units with weights up to 2,000 tonnes including pipe racks, cryogenic cold boxes, process plants, columns etc.
Mechanical fabrication
Fabricom Suez are fully experienced in working with piping systems in all grades of material including ferritic, austenitic, chrome and duplex. The preparation and assembly of steelwork is carried out in carbon and stainless steels. Pressure vessels of various dimensions can be constructed in accordance with international codes.
Electrical and instrumentation
Fabricom Suez has significant experience within the oil, gas, petrochemical, water, pharmaceutical and power generation industries. A full range of activities can be undertaken including design, construction, panel manufacture, calibration, loop checking and commissioning. Electrical and instrumentation projects have been carried out with values ranging from £11K to £5M.
Specialist leak repair
Operating from its own workshop within the Immingham complex, Fabricom Suez's Leak Repair team of multi-skilled operatives supply a 24 hour, 7 day call out service to a range of diverse industries and also provide additional support to our teams based at Deeside and Teesside. Capabilities include: leak sealing, on site machining, hot tapping, pipe freezing, emission monitoring and term contracts.
Pump and valve refurbishment
Fabricom Suez can undertake the installation and repair of clients equipment both on site and at our maintenance workshops. Single and multistage pumps can be refurbished with the supply of competent parts from our own machine shop or by reverse engineering methods. Our computerised balancing equipment can cater for rotating elements up to 100kg. Control valves and regulators can be monitored with our own computer registration system which provides instant digital gas-seal leakage measuring and mass flow metering to international standards. Fabricom Suez are appointed agents for Belzona anti corrosion products.
Plant maintenance
Fabricom Suez has the relevant experience to provide a permanent site presence either in a single or multi-discipline capacity. The majority of capabilities can be provided in house, but if required Fabricom Suez has expertise in the management of additional trades such as access equipment, cleaning, etc. Fabricom currently carry out maintenance operations throughout the UK and provide a 24 hour rapid response to customer requirements.
