Modular Construction
Fabricom Suez's fabrication and modular erection facility provides over 13,000m² of modern, well equipped workshops, which include extensive machining capabilities. The construction and erection yard extends to over 8 hectares and has direct road access to Immingham Dock. Modular construction of pre-assembled piperacks, process units and columns are regularly carried out for the majority of industrial sectors. These can vary in size from simple skid units through to complex modules with weights in excess of 600 tonne.
Mechanical Site Installation
Fabricom Suez carries out construction and maintenance works for clientele in many diverse sectors, including the power generation, nuclear, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, petrochemical, food, water, fine chemical and process industries. The scope of work varies from minor modifications to complete overall responsibility for projects which include; civil works, structural steelwork, piping systems, tanks, vessels and heat exchangers, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation services, protective coatings, insulation and fireproofing, testing and commissioning, packaging and transport.
Project Management
Our team of design, management and technical staff has extensive experience in the management of multi-discipline contracts throughout the UK. These include working as principle contractor under the CDM regulations and also to PED requirements. Supporting design software includes Autopol, AutoCAD 2002 and Rebis. Back-up is provided by our own in-house bespoke planning system (FPCS) Fabricom Project Controls System.
Fabrication
The company's modern facilities at Immingham, Chester and Teesside cater for all types of fabrication including the manufacture of structural steel and platework assemblies, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems and process modules.
Fabricom Suez work in a variety of materials including aluminium, copper and nickel alloys, monel, chrome-moly and all grades of stainless and carbon steel including duplex. Non destructive testing using radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle and dye penetrant methods are available supervised by Fabricom's inspection personnel.
