As part of the VOC Recovery Project at ConocoPhillips facility on Teesside Fabricom Contracting Limited were awarded the contract for the supply of 4 No Pre-Assembled Units by the principal contractor Costain in February 2006.

The aim of the project is to provide an effective solution for the reduction of volatile vapour (VOC) emitted from oil tankers during crude loading operations.  When complete in the latter half of 2007, the project will result in a significant decrease in emissions from all tankers calling at the Teesside terminal.  This is a major project for terminal operator ConocoPhillips, with safety, health and environmental issues as key drivers.
